The Spring fundraiser is in full swing now and at this writing we are about one-third of the way to our goal of $30,000. The six aspects that we want to complete in Phase 1 are additional landscaping and more grading of the property, a new permanent sign, cementing of the handicap ramp, new patio furniture and improvement to the salaries in our youth ed and music programs. We are excited about our progress and I really want to encourage you to get behind these initiatives and make this a reality. You may have heard the choir yard sale netted over $1200 so put on those creative hats and let?s hit that goal.

Our new officers were elected this month and I will continue on in my role of President and Susan Gallagher will continue to serve as Vice President. Cate Lowman will be our new secretary and Jim Johnson will be our new treasurer. Tom Taylor is the board liaison to the building committee and Diane Kennedy is our liaison to the fall event. Look for more exciting news to come on that at a later date.

For now let's enjoy the summer!!! On June 4th we marked the second anniversary of moving into our church home. I am continually amazed by what this wonderful community has accomplished in creating such a beautiful physical space. More importantly though is what we offer each other through our works, words and willingness to show up and be an intricate part of Columbine Unity. Hopefully you have taken advantage of the concerts and classes that are happening ~ keep an eye out for a lot more coming your way soon!
