CUC Hiking and Snowshoing Group
We typically get out every other Saturday morning throughout the year. Our objectives are to follow the wildflower bloom up from the foothills to the mountain tops, bag a few peaks in the late summer, follow the fall colors down the mountains, and then return to the high country for snowshoeing.
Before each event we send out e-mails describing day hikes and snowshoeing (location, elevation change, distance, degree of difficultly, where to meet, etc) so that you always know what to prepare for!.
If you would like to join our group, please contact Brian Mueller at brierimueller@comcast.net.
Fourth of July Trailhead to Diamond Lake, July 19 2008

Mesa at Big Bluestem on Towhee Trail, May 2008.
Feb. 16, 2008 Rocky Mountain National Park
The group decided to hike the 3.5 Bear Lake Trail with the goal of Emerald Lake. It was a beautiful day, if quite windy (especially at Emerald Lake), and we really had a great time.
