Fall Gala

As preparations are underway for this year’s 7 week program, it is also time to start thinking about this year’s Fall Gala. Saturday November 6th is the date and we will again be having it at Boulder Country Club. Everyone had a great time last year and we will be working to surpass all expectations this year. However now is the time to begin to think about how you would like to participate in this year’s preparation. Starting this week there will be a sign up sheet with the various committees we will need. If you are interested in chairing one of these please sign up. We will keep everyone informed as the weeks go by.

September Potluck - Summer's Last Stand - The September Potluck will be at Glenda & Bill Holmes’ home atop Flagstaff at 5:00 pm on Friday, September 17th, instead of Sept. 24th as previously announced. FALL PROGRAM The Spots Are Going FAST! We have had only one Sunday to sign up and have two more planned on the calendar. Don’t delay sign up now! There are eight Book discussion groups with openings! You can still sign up after both services Sunday September 12th. If there are still openings we will have a sign up table available after both services on Sunday September 19th. CHOIR KICK-OFF PARTY

CHOIR KICK-OFF PARTY Have you ever thought “It might be fun to sing in the choir”? Now’s the time to join! The only prerequisites are a love of singing and of having fun and a commitment to attend weekly rehearsals and to perform in the Sunday services approximately once a month. We practice every Thursday night from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 - 9:00 p.m. at the church. The first fall practice will be Sept. 23rd at 6:30 p.m. Come to the Choir Kick-off Party and meet other choir members and their families. Date and Time: Saturday, September 11th at 6:00 p.m. Where: Home of Christie Coates and Howard Gordon, 8157 Middle Fork Rd. What: Barbeque: Christie and Howard will provide a grilled chicken entree and a veggie alternative, beer, wine and pop. Please bring an appetizer, side dish or dessert to share and anything else you may want to drink or grill. Who: All choir members and families (including kids!) and anyone (and their families) interested in or even just considering joining the choir.
