Columbine Uniteens (Middle School Age)

The Uniteen Group got into the swing of our World Religions study this October. We began with Native American Spiritualism. We were surprised at how much we knew about the subject of native spirituality.

We also looked at the sub-topic of Animism, or the belief that natural objects, natural phenomena, and the universe itself possess souls. Our study partners this month were Alison Barrows-Young and Brittany Stockton, with Rémy Barrows our Uniteen helper. We still need a few people to help with our spiritual study months. This month Sarah Byrd is leading our study of Buddhism, and in December Colleen Jayne will lead our Unity at Yuletide study. The annual service project will be Chandra's Dream with Duncan Larsen.

We're planning monthly get-togethers outside of Sunday studies, presently collecting ideas from the Uniteen members. We're building a website at www.flickr.com/photos/uniteens.
