Islamic Teachings and Customs with Nursen Konuk from Multicultural Mosaic Foundation
Bring a bag dinner and drink for yourself and your party - traditional Turkish/Muslim dessert will be provided! Also - bring a yoga mat or blanket as we will be learning/engaging in Islamic prayer practices. $25 suggested Love Offering.
About Nursen: Nursen Konuk is a Software Engineer at CoBank and holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education. She has previously worked as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and math teacher. Currently, Nursen serves as the Board President of the Multicultural Mosaic Foundation and actively promotes diversity, dialogue, peace, social justice, and youth empowerment through her leadership and mentorship roles in the community. Outside of professional interests, Nursen enjoys spending time with her cat, exercising, hiking, and playing basketball.
