Feet Forward 2023 website version (Instagram Post).png

4th Tuesday of each month @ 1pm

Unity Columbine supports "Feet Forward," a local non-profit helping the unhoused and unsupported in Boulder County. This monthly service opportunity occurs on the 4th Tuesday of each month (note date change!) We gather at 1pm in Foss Hall to prepare 100-125 self-contained meals. At 1:30pm, several volunteers deliver them to the Feet Forward location in downtown Boulder for distribution to the unsupported in Boulder. Other volunteers remain in Foss Hall to clean up. If you cannot volunteer, we invite you to support this much-needed, important project by making a one-time or recurring donation. Thank you!

Unity Basics 2024 Workshops.png

Unity Basics: March and April 2024

If you’ve ever wondered what Unity is all about, our Unity Basics workshop series will dive into the history and principles of Unity and the New Thought Movement. In this series of 4 workshops, we’ll talk about how it all started, where we are today and what the “Unity Center” of the future might look like. It’s a way to connect with others as you get more grounded in the principles behind this service you’ve been attending. Whether you are simply interested in learning more, or you are ready to commit to being a voting member, the first three Unity Basics Workshops will answer some questions about Unity and help you explain it better to other people who ask you about your “church”. The first three sessions are led by Rev. Sue McQueen. The fourth workshop, led by our Community Care Director, Anne Moriarty, is a Spiritual Gifts Workshop, developed to help you discern your spiritual gifts and how to utilize those gifts in sacred service. By sharing our gifts, we grow more deeply in spiritual awareness, which can enhance our experience of life. Join us for any of the workshops at 11:45-1:45 on Sunday afternoons: March 10, March 24, April 7 and April 21 in our conference room at Columbine A Love offering of $15 per session is suggested. NOTE: All four workshops are required for the Path to Voting Membership.

Path to Belonging

Most people have a basic need to feel they belong. Being part of a spiritual community can help you gain that sense of belonging. We recognize, though, that it’s up to  each individual to develop connections in order to feel like they belong to any community. To help you connect and gain a sense of belonging, we have created our Path to Belonging, which includes a list of suggested spiritual activities. These are meant to help you grow, learn Unity teachings and develop relationships within Columbine.

Path to Membership

If you are looking to step into that next level of commitment to Columbine Spiritual Center, our path to voting membership is a list of required spiritual activities that we feel are a minimum every voting member needs to complete.  Columbine is a self-supporting ministry, which means it takes many people to operate a community of our size. Voting members are committed to ensuring our community is sustainable by providing their time, talent and treasure to Columbine. When you devote your time and financial resources to Columbine and understand our teachings, you will feel a greater sense of belonging and feel more supported, which can change your life for the better in many ways.
