Upcoming Events and Classes

Feet Forward
As we are warm in our homes, we remember there are those who do not have a home nor adequate food. If you would like to help feed them, we have been invited by the director of Feet Forward, an all-inclusive, non-profit organization in Boulder, providing services for individuals experiencing homelessness, to participate in their hot meal service once a month. On the 3rd Tuesday of each month we come together at Columbine to prepare food that will be taken to downtown Boulder to help those in need.
We need donations and volunteers for this ongoing community outreach program led by our very own Janis Kelly.

Upcoming Sunday Service Themes
Because many of you suggested we look at other religions to increase understanding, we will be starting a Unity and World Religions series in May. We’ll be following the book, Unity and World Religions by Unity minister Paul John Roach (available in our bookstore). Check out our service schedule below and plan on joining us for this informative talk series on Sundays at 10:00 Mountain Time in-person in our sanctuary, or live-streamed on our website Watch page!
May 1 – Christianity
May 29 – Judaism
June 12 – Islam
June 26 – Hinduism
July 10 – Buddhism
July 24 – Taoism
July 31 – Smorgasbord

Service Project
Did you know that 1 in 5 Colorado kids do not know where or when they will get their next meal and 1 in 4 working families do not have enough food to meet their basic needs? We have an opportunity to make a huge difference by reducing childhood hunger in Colorado.
We are organizing a special service project, Colorado Feeding Kids, to take place on Saturday, July 30, 9:00 - 11:00. Everyone is welcome to participate including families and children as we organize a unique meal pack in Foss Hall. Colorado Feeding Kids will bring the materials and instructions based on our level of financial sponsorship. More information will be coming soon.

Path to Belonging
Most people have a basic need to feel they belong. Being part of a spiritual community can help you gain that sense of belonging. We recognize, though, that it’s up to each individual to develop connections in order to feel like they belong to any community. To help you connect and gain a sense of belonging, we have created our Path to Belonging, which includes a list of suggested spiritual activities. These are meant to help you grow, learn Unity teachings and develop relationships within Columbine.
Path to Membership
If you are looking to step into that next level of commitment to Columbine Spiritual Center, our path to voting membership is a list of required spiritual activities that we feel are a minimum every voting member needs to complete. Columbine is a self-supporting ministry, which means it takes many people to operate a community of our size. Voting members are committed to ensuring our community is sustainable by providing their time, talent and treasure to Columbine. When you devote your time and financial resources to Columbine and understand our teachings, you will feel a greater sense of belonging and feel more supported, which can change your life for the better in many ways.
