Feet Forward

As we are warm in our homes, we remember there are those who do not have a home nor adequate food. If you would like to help feed them, we have been invited by the director of Feet Forward, an all-inclusive, non-profit organization in Boulder, providing services for individuals experiencing homelessness, to participate in their hot meal service once a month. On the 3rd Tuesday of each month we come together at Columbine to prepare food that will be taken to downtown Boulder to help those in need. We need donations and volunteers for this ongoing community outreach program led by our very own Janis Kelly.

Meditation Service.png

Wednesday Meditation Services

We are excited to announce that meditations will be offered in a hybrid fashion every Wednesday at 7pm, starting on September 7th. Anyone can attend either in person in the Columbine conference room or via Zoom. The plan is for the meditation time to last about an hour, opening with a prayer, followed by various meditation practices and closing with a prayer. There will be different meditation leads rotating each week. A love offering will be accepted in support of Columbine but is not required. Use this Zoom link to come join us, connect with your heart, the love that you are!

Unity Basics Workshops.png

Unity Basics Workshops

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s all about, our Unity Basics Workshop will dive into the history and principles of Unity and the New Thought Movement. In this series of 3 workshops, we’ll talk about how it all started, where we are today and what the “Unity Center” of the future might look like. It’s a way to connect with others as you get more grounded in the principles behind this service you’ve been attending. Whether you are simply interested in learning more, or you are ready to commit to being a voting member, these Unity Basics Workshops will answer some questions about Unity and help you explain it better to other people who ask you about your “church”. Join us for 1, 2 or 3 workshops on Sunday afternoons. January 15, February 12 and March 12 at 12:00-2:00 in our conference room at Columbine. (Note, all three workshops are required for the Path to Voting Membership.) Sign-Up sheet coming soon.

Path to Belonging

Most people have a basic need to feel they belong. Being part of a spiritual community can help you gain that sense of belonging. We recognize, though, that it’s up to  each individual to develop connections in order to feel like they belong to any community. To help you connect and gain a sense of belonging, we have created our Path to Belonging, which includes a list of suggested spiritual activities. These are meant to help you grow, learn Unity teachings and develop relationships within Columbine.

Path to Membership

If you are looking to step into that next level of commitment to Columbine Spiritual Center, our path to voting membership is a list of required spiritual activities that we feel are a minimum every voting member needs to complete.  Columbine is a self-supporting ministry, which means it takes many people to operate a community of our size. Voting members are committed to ensuring our community is sustainable by providing their time, talent and treasure to Columbine. When you devote your time and financial resources to Columbine and understand our teachings, you will feel a greater sense of belonging and feel more supported, which can change your life for the better in many ways.
