Hanging Out In Person (Edited)
Hey All,
Due to another death in my family, I have to change my plan to be at the District in Lafayette from 1-4 PM on Tuesday, February 17 to February 24 at those times. On that day, I will hang out with anyone who wants to stop by. The District is the plaza where Otis Coffee and Button Rock Bakery are. We can use the time however you would like. However, some of the things that are top of the mind for me are:
Consciousness - As you know, we talked about this on Zoom recently and it was the theme of the film, Who We Are, that the Belonging Project hosted.
Prayer - I would love to just have open conversations about people's perspectives on prayer in its many many forms and expressions.
Spiritual journeys - So many of us have come to Unity from a variety of paths. It is always fun to learn about what brought people to Unity and what keeps them showing up.
Spirituality and Justice - what does it mean to live in the knowledge of our essential Oneness when we see people expressing division?
And we also could just get to know each other. I am going to do this on other days as well. But, I wanted to start with the folks I interact with on here first. I would like to put some faces with some of the names.
If you are certain that you will come by and want to let me know in advance, please email me at pedro@columbineunity.org. But, you can always just feel free to pop up.
Additionally, I wanted to remind folks who may not have done the survey yet that we are still receiving input and that your input goes a long way to helping us shape the future. The link is below.
I look forward to connecting with you all. And if this time doesn't work and you want to connect some other time, just let me know.
Sincere regards,
Pedro
