You Are Enough

ree

If there’s one thing I hope that we can encourage each other to remember at all times it is that we are enough and then some.

This license plate miraculously pulled up in front of me as I was talking to myself about whether I should give my daughters the “you are enough speech”. As a parent, I feel like my number one job is to help my daughters remember who they are. There are so many messages that tell them that they are not enough. However, they are not always interested in hearing my little speeches. So, I was going to keep it to myself until I saw the license plate. It showed up the second after I had a thought while I was driving them to school. So I pointed out the license plate and said, “ See that girls? That’s the Universe telling you what I always…

I LOVE the messages that land upon our eyes in Divine Timing 🙏🏻

Something Old, Something New

Let me start by thanking everyone who looks at and engages these posts. My hope is that over time, folks will feel encouraged to share your thoughts, reflections, and questions and use this space to build even deeper community here at CSC.

Part of why I felt led to start this group is based on a Buckminster Fuller quote that I use all of the time and have probably already used here. But it always bears repeating.

“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”

This quote has almost served as a mantra for me over the past few years. Over the decades, I have had the gift of experiencing what doesn't work. Like the apocryphal Thomas Edison quote about learning 10,000 ways not to make a light bulb, I have learned many ways how not…

Hi Rev Pedro & this growing community

I chuckle and Laugh. . . I deleted ALL of my Social Media accounts & no regrets. I still have NONE. There was a percentage of my past posts ‘fighting’ BIG CORPORATIONS. I did sit with the numerous contacts in total & the 10k+ on LinkedIn & let go

A new word for me: apocryphal!! Thank YOU

I so resonate with the quotes in your post, which remind me: There is a SPIRITUAL solution to every problem. And then, ARE there REALLY any Problems? Not if, ALL THERE IS IS LOVE

I (still) AM in the ‘mist’ of being with Sources Guidance & spending waking & sleeping hours in quiet listening these days.

How can I BE of Service to Truths around Health & Vitality? I believe: In order for Humanity to come into existence, all humanity would need, not just to survive, but to THRIVE, EXISTED & still exists.

I have surrendered & stopped fighting the following industries who, I believe direct us away from Source on many levels. In 2024: The net worth of BIG INDUSTRY. Supplements $210 BILLION, Pharma $1.77 TRILLION, Ultra Processed Foods $2 TRILLION, Medical System $11-14.3 TRILLION.

And, from BILLIONS of YEARS in the making: Nature’s Packaging, Sources are PERFECT (yes, Whole Foods from Mother Earths dirt) & by us taking them apart and isolating compounds, simply creates dissonance, yet. . . nature isn’t silent, yet it’s not being heard through SM or ALL the Ads to make a profit.

I AM finding me along this Spiritual Path and believe: Meditation is Truth that connects me with TRUE SOURCE, no drugs or supplements will ever bring me back to The Whole I AM

Gratitudes for YOU, Pedro

A New Word to Describe Unity?

Words are very interesting. When we speak and we listen, we often assume that people use words the same way we do. That is rarely true. Even within the same family, there is a diversity of lexicons. My kids use slang in ways that take me to the internet to figure out what they are talking about. And I imagine it must have been even more difficult for parents in previous generations who didn't have access to the world's knowledge (both useful and seemingly useless 😜). Mindful of this, I think it is an important part of our relational and spiritual practices to seek clarity in our communications when we can, always beginning with positive assumptions.

For example, in my previous post, I mentioned that someone described Unity as an "Interfaith 'Synchronistic' Church". Well, it turned out that he said an "Interfaith 'Syncretistic' Church". Now, I still didn't know what…

Thanks for sharing your experience erik. One of the things I loved about the bridging work I did for the past few years was that there was an acknowledgement that we often use words differently. So many miscommunications come from the misconception that the way we use words is the way others might use them. I heard recently that "clarity is kindness". There are many ways to appreciate that statement. And when people commit to clarity together, it can be pretty awesome.

How Would You Describe Unity to Someone Who Has Never Heard of It

Welcome again to everyone who has joined this group. My hope is that you will feel comfortable to engage and will invite others to join us as well.

One of the questions that is at the forefront of my consciousness right now is how I would describe Unity to people who have never heard of it or who have less informed ideas about it.

If you Google "Unity Church", the new AI function describes the Unity Church this way, "It is a non-denominational organization that focuses on spiritual growth and a practical way of life, believing in universal truths found in all religions."

If you go to the Unity.org website and go to the About Us page, right at the top it say, "We are a global, inclusive, spiritual community, and we offer practical tools and uplifting resources to help people of all faiths apply positive spiritual principles in their daily…

The first thing that comes to my mind on this question, it is our combine unity, purpose statement that we say every week.

“We commit to increasing our spiritual awareness, diversifying our community, manifesting our highest potential and positively impacting the world.”

I loved your story and the synergy of that gentleman interacted with saying that he was part of Unity. Spirit definitely works in mysterious ways!
