Consciousness It Is - LAWG Zoom Gathering 3:30PM January 29th

Based on the responses to the survey I put out, most people would like to talk about consciousness on the Learning as We Go Zoom gathering on January 29th. So, my question for you all is, "What is it about consciousness that you would like to discuss?"
My personal view of consciousness can best be described as "The Witnessing and Wondering Self".
If there are aspects of this topic that you want to share, please do so here. If there are books you've read or articles or videos that you would like us to take a look at before the conversation, please add them to this thread. Also, let me know if there are areas that you would like to reflect on in light of consciousness such as:
Parenting
Relationships
Finances, etc
I am not claiming expertise. But, these are some areas where I try to bring consciousness to my approach.
I look forward to gathering with those of you who can make it. More to come.

I would quote spiritual teacher, Rupert Spira on the question of what is consciousness. I think he has a good answer. It is the fundamental awareness that exists beyond thoughts, feelings, and perceptions. It is the essence of our being which remains constant, even when our mental activities are not present. Human experiences are part of consciousness not the not consciousness being part of human experiences.
